Data hints at the value of startup offices — Business d’Or

Towards the end of 2022, many entrepreneurs (some to quote Elon Musk) will reintroduce an in-person work culture in the coming year to boost productivity and, in some cases, loyalty. He told me he was making plans. One founder even told me over a drink that he wasn’t worried about losing talent.

While there are arguments from venture capitalists who want to see their companies succeed, there are arguments that face-to-face meetings increase productivity and ultimately improve bottom line. There is also the counter-argument that remote work allows for a more inclusive and expansive way of thinking, which may also contribute to the bottom line.

And if 2023 isn’t a profitable year, I don’t know what else. Kruze Consulting, an accounting firm for startups, has combed through the financials of more than 750 companies, with quarterly sales exceeding his $300 million and quarterly expenses exceeding his $7.

Over $50 million. We spoke with Healy Jones, Kruse’s head of financial planning and analysis, about his findings. He believes this result brings some balance to the debate.
